The Center is a family-owned gathering place stewarded by the Dewing family with a simple hope: to strengthen our community by creating a place where people genuinely enjoy being together. From exceptional coffee and homemade baked goods to hand-scooped ice cream, local goods, and warm hospitality, everything we do is centered around helping every guest feel known, welcomed, and valued.
The Center is part of a much bigger story. We believe each generation has the privilege of receiving an inheritance, enriching it, and passing it on stronger than it was found. As the next stewards of this historic place, our hope is to serve our neighbors well and create a gathering place that will bless our community for generations to come.

We believe it's better to do a few things exceptionally well than to offer dozens of average choices. That's why we keep our bakery selection small so we can put care into everything we make. Everything in our bakery case is made in-house, from our signature cinnamon rolls and freshly baked scones to a few seasonal favorites. We hope you’ll find something you love and come back for again.

Like the country stores of years gone by, The Center offers more than food and coffee. You'll find a carefully curated collection of practical, useful, and gift-worthy goods—from locally crafted products and regional favorites to premium outdoor essentials, home goods, and other timeless items. For generations, The Center served travelers and neighbors with fuel, and we're excited to continue that tradition. Bringing our fuel service back online requires infrastructure upgrades and regulatory approvals, so we're taking the time to do it right. Our vision goes beyond simply installing modern pumps. We hope to restore the charm of heritage-style fuel dispensers while integrating today's technology for safe, reliable, and convenient service.
